Advocacy Material
The Jane Cameron National Archives proactively advocate and promote it's service and role in the local community and across the world. This has included taking part in social media campaigns and leading talks, presentations and open days. In this section you can explore some of the material we have shared as part of these initiatives, making them available to anyone who might have missed them at the time.

#Archive30 - April 2025
#Archive30 is a social media campaign run by the UK & Ireland Archives & Records Association's Scottish Region (ARA Scotland). For everyday in April there is a theme, for which Archives across the world share content that links to that specific theme. It provides services the opportunity to share information about their collection, their processes, or about their hardworking team.

Explore Your Archives Week - November 2024
Explore Your Archives is a platform initiated by the UK & Ireland Archives & Records Association, which encourages everyone to visit, use, celebrate and be inspired by archives. They facilitate a range of activities each year, including a focused week in November. This year’s ‘Explore Your Archives Week’ ran from 21 November to 30 November 2024. This was the first year that the JCNA participated and in addition to posting material on social media for each daily theme, the service hosted tours and a presentation
