Falkland Islands Broadcasting Announcements & Transcripts

These are the actual news transcripts and announcements that presenters read from.  There are no known surviving copies prior to 1960 and some years are incomplete.  They are a valuable source of information on politics and sovereignty, detailed obituaries and weddings, local humour and satire, and social and leisure activities.

These are tumbled papers and have been scanned in the order that they were filed which is not necessarily in date order.
